hands-on class will introduce participants to the fascinating art of
carving bark. Bark carving is often preferred by those who
enjoy carving but find it difficult to manage harder media
(basswood, tupelo, etc.) |

Introduction to Face Carving or permission from the
instructor. Permission will be granted to anyone having

flat surface where wood is removed to expose the desired object. |

carving 3-dimensional objects (caving in the round). Through
one or more exercises students will learn and practice the skills
needed to tackle larger and more elaborate projects. |
